Is there a free trial?↓
Yes — 30 days with every feature unlocked. The trial starts the first time you open Revit with ELLAH-M installed. After that, subscribe on the Autodesk App Store: $8 a month or $79 a year.
Which Revit versions are supported?↓
Revit 2024 (.NET Framework 4.8) and Revit 2025, 2026 and 2027 (.NET 8). One install covers all of them.
Is it safe? Can it damage my model?↓
Every run happens inside a single Revit transaction, so one Ctrl+Z rolls the whole run back. Numbering only writes the Mark parameter (or the parameter you choose) — geometry, levels and grids are never touched.
How does column numbering work?↓
Pick a scope — full project, one floor, a floor range, manual, or Snake Path — and a sort order such as top-left, row by row. A live preview shows every position as new, kept, completed or in conflict before anything is written. Stacked columns on different floors keep one shared mark.
What is Snake Path?↓
Click the first column, then move the cursor through the plan. Every column the cursor passes takes the next mark, with a glowing trail behind you. Press Ctrl to pause, and save from the floating panel.
How does foundation and pile numbering work?↓
Each pile takes the mark of the structural column above it (for example 140). Where several piles serve one column, they are lettered row by row: 140A, 140B, 140C — from single piles to large groups.
How do Excel export and import work?↓
Export writes a styled .xlsx of the parameters you choose, for a category and a level. Import reads the same layout back and writes the editable values into Revit — useful for syncing with office schedules and analysis software.
Can I cancel the subscription?↓
Yes, anytime, from your Autodesk account. Access continues to the end of the billing period, and your models are not affected.
